Set in an acre of secluded, landscaped gardens at the end of a private lane, this Georgian-style house is very impressive with its polished wood floors, wood panelling, thick pile carpets, draperies and stylish, elegant guestrooms. The luxurious suites and rooms have glorious bathrooms, super king beds and are all filled with everything to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. All have huge bath tubs, invigorating power showers, crisp linen, fridges, gorgeous bed throws, chocolates, fresh fruit, satelite and digital televisions, DVD/Video/CD players and more. Start your day with an award-winning breakfast taken in the Glass Room overlooking the indoor pool, leisure complex and garden. Feast on fresh berries, fruit compotes, juices, organic yoghurts, homemade granola and museli, creamy scambled eggs with smoked salmon, a full English breakfast with butchers sausages and bacon and free range eggs. Breakfast and light suppers are served in the Glass Room. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine and drinks.
About Your Hosts
Jane and Steve (Jane is English and Steve is American) have lived and worked in Cornwall since 1989. They will give you a generous welcome on arrival with afternoon tea, a delicious homemade treat and immediately make you feel at home. With their previous experience of owning a country house hotel and restaurant, they enjoy the 'buzz' of guest company and are happy and proud to have you in their home. Special attention to detail and flair is evident everywhere.
Out and About
You cannot better the position for visiting both the North and South coasts of Cornwall.
Eden Project - a 1.2-mile walk via country roads and special footpaths or a 5-minute drive. Pine Lodge Gardens, Carlyon Bay beach and golf, and Charlestown tall ship harbour - within 1 mile. Lost Gardens of Heligan – 6 miles. Landhydrock House– 10 miles, and five golf courses within 15 minutes.
